Garlic harvest.

Yesterday I cleaned and trimmed our first harvest of garlic.
It will sit and dry in the sun for a few days and then I'll make some garlic ropes.
I had to learn how to do that last year with the onions.

Today the wheat is being harvested in the field next to the house so I'm not out in the garden, it can get noisy and dusty. I'ts good to see a harvest not spoilt by the rain as we had last year.

I'm working on another bag today.
I decided to dye some of my old linen, the first batch a light indigo blue, it looks good.
I'm lining the bag with some old 1930's French check fabric that I bought at a troc a couple of years ago.
